Passover demonstrates God’s power—not just in the past, but today. Christ in the Passover illustrates the Exodus story in a vivid, personal way. Our presentation shows the link between the ancient festival of Passover and Jesus as the Lamb of God. Your congregation will gain historical insight through this powerful talk—they will never forget it!
Our 45-minute sermonic demonstration is visual, so your congregation will actually see a table set with traditional Passover items. Our missionary uses Scripture as well as the visual items to walk through a traditional Jewish Passover Seder, weaving the story of the Exodus together with the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. The words He spoke in the upper room come alive as each Hebraic item is carefully explained.
Many tell us that Christ in the Passover has deepened their church’s communion and Easter experience. This presentation can be given before the taking of the Lord’s Supper on any given Sunday. It can also be a stand-alone sermon on any weeknight. A question-and-answer period is also available for these nights.
The 3 Arrangements:
Our missionaries usually come to a church on the basis of 1) a free-will offering, 2) an administrative/ travel stipend (within Sydney it is $85.00; outside it’s $125). We also would like to give each person a card which 3) allows them to sign on for our free newsletter or receipts them for any individual offering they might give.
