Report from Sydney

Recently, some non-believing Jewish friends of mine invited me to a Shabbat dinner. Praise God for the conversations that I was able to have during the evening!

One Jewish man, Joseph*, had many questions for me. He wanted to know all about Jews for Jesus and what we believe about Jesus being the Messiah. I was able to explain that while modern Judaism teaches that there will be two Messiahs, the Bible actually teaches that the same Messiah will come twice. Joseph was fascinated by all of this and said that he has to keep the conversation going. I had a copy of the book, What the Rabbis Know About the Messiah, with me and he was very happy to take it.

Please pray for Joseph, that Yeshua will reveal himself as Messiah and that we will be able to have many more great conversations in the future.
