Ministry Moments
From Lionel Gimelfarb, Paris
Penelope* had contacted the office following the tragic events of October 7 which had deeply shocked her. She is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, studied extensively and had already been in contact with believers. We met regularly to pray and study the Bible together and over the last few months I have had the joy of seeing her progress spiritually and understand the message of the Gospel of Yeshua better and better. We had studied Isaiah 53 and the messianic meaning of the passage, John 3 and the new birth and what it means for her life. During our last meeting, it seemed she was ready to make a covenant with the Lord to through the Messiah of Israel and the nations. So, I reviewed with her what this commitment means for her life and what Yeshua expects from her if she wanted to commit her life to Him. We have a new member in God’s family, praise be to the Lord! Will you pray that she can strengthen her faith and be a witness to her husband and daughters? She is the only believer in her family at the moment.
