"I recently met up with a Jewish man who was interested in knowing more about how one could be Jewish and follow Jesus at the same time.

Daniel* is from a religious home but for the past couple of years has been getting involved in the New Age. However, he was very interested to hear my story and why I believe that Jesus is the Messiah. He also had a lot of questions about the gifts of the Spirit, in particular, the gift of prophecy.

So, we looked at the New Testament passages together and I was happy to hear Daniel say that he could see that the gifts of the Spirit was a continuation of the story of what God did for all of us first by dying for our sins and raising from the dead.

Daniel was very keen to meet up again, read the Bible together, and ask some more questions. He also accepted an invitation to come to our Shabbat dinner in the near future.

Please pray for Daniel, that his eyes and hearts would be open."
