Finding Hope in the Kitchen

by Yulia Mitnitsky, Israel

Yulia, who leads our ministry to Russian speakers in Tel Aviv, shares, “I have been recruiting volunteers to work alongside our team and other believers at a Christian retreat centre to cook and bring 2,000 hot meals per day to displaced families as well as those still living in war-torn cities with no place to go.

The volunteers are mostly young, secular, Israelis. For most of them, this is the first time they have met Messianic Jews or have been to a place run by Christians. They are curious about the centre as well as about us. As they see our faith in action, we have had countless opportunities to share about the love and security we have found in Messiah.

We are so thankful for the over 900 volunteers who have served alongside us to feed people in need. Three of the volunteers have even asked to visit the local congregation that meets on the grounds of the retreat centre. Hallelujah!”
